TurnTowardsTheSky Layout | Click to enlarge.

TurnTowardsTheSky are a melodic screamo/post hardcore band. TTTS have an exclusive sound, which is derived from all of their influences, with Dan on drums contributing to a metal edge and the more melodic sounds coming from Mike, Tom and Matt.

R201.com designed and coded the layout for TTTS, keeping in mind that the band would like to be able to update the pages on their own. We will be making some minor updates which are to include;

A custom gigs script, so that TTTS can log in and post details about where their next show is, without having to eddit any pages.

A flash based mp3 player, so that users of the site can listen to TTTS's music.

TheBlowUps V4 Layout | Click to enlarge.

R201.com has been working with TheBlowUps for quite sometime. During the time that we have collaborating with this client, we have made a total 4 layouts for the web site. Along side this we have also done some other artwork, which includes CD cover art, computer wallpapers, t shirt designs and also bonus content to go on their "Play For Dead CD".

TheBlowUps are looking to expand their site by adding a merchandise section, which is going to be using a custom script to manage the content.

During the past variants of the site, R201.com has only provided hosting, and the layout. TheBlowUps have been updating the web site on there own.

At the moment, theblowups.com has not been regularly update, due to the band being a bit busy. We are getting ready to push theblowups.com to v5 which hopefully is going to be the final layout for theblowups.

At the moment the band are getting everything ready for R201.com to create the new site. Which will be updated and manage between both the client and R201.com, so that it is constantly up to date.

Travel-Cast.co.uk Layout | Click to enlarge.

"The Travel cast project is the product of a MA course in Radio management at the University of Sunderland, as part of the course each student has to develop an idea involving radio into a full project for their final piece of Degree work. It could be anything, within reason, providing it required enough work and content to merit the credits on the degree course and it involved an aspect of radio.
The Travel cast project was an idea I came up with relatively early and decided to pitch as my final project. The initial idea was that I wanted to produce short downloadable MP3 pieces of audio that would help someone understand more about a place they were planning on visiting. " - Jonathan Bargh

R201.com created the web layout for the travel-cast project. As well as the initial layout, R201.com also set up all the pages, and the navigation had been put into place. This was then left to Jonathan Bargh to do as he wished. The only extra page R201.com added was the contact page, which included a working contact script.

Nightmare.co.uk | Click To Enlarge.

The Nightmare is an end game raiding guild, for the game World Of Warcraft.

Getting into the guild is done via application, as there is strong competition in the World Of Warcraft.

Before R201.com was asked to create a layout, the web site consisted of just a forum.

During the designing of the layout, we were asked if i would be possible to incorporate a shout box into the main page. The shout box offers a quick alternative to using the forum. With the guild having over 40 active members, the shout box allows them to leave quick message, with out having to log into the forum just to leave a message.

"We asked r201.com for a basic site for the world of warcraft guild, Nightmare. We provided r201.com with a general theme to the guild, which r201 took on board and created our site. The site has shocked many members of the quality and work which has gone into the site, and has prompted guild members to take up more business with r201.com. We're all very happy with the new site."

| AudioStatic | http://www.Audiostaticband.com

Blending heavy rock, with subtle ambience and a bitter/sweet take on life, AudioStatic launch themselves' on unsuspecting gig goer's with their highly energetic, and often explosive live show.

R201.com has been working with the AudioStatic for a few weeks. During this time the site has had two different layouts. The layout change was mainly due to AudioStatic having a change of mind towards what they wanted from the site.

After discussing ideas for the layout/feel for the site and what content they were going to add, R201.com created the V1 of the site. After only a short period of time, they decided they wanted to take the site in a slightly different direction, and thus V2 was born.

Due to band differences, Audiostatic is no longer a band and so there was no requirement for their web site.

Some members of audiostatic are forming a new band, R201.com has already been asked to create a site as well as various artwork.
